No, don’t worry, I’m not changing the title of my security awareness program from D.I.C.E. to C.H.E.W. (would I have to replace the dice with a graphic of a mouth??). It’s  a short video on cyber threats by former White House official Richard Clarke where C is for Criminals, H is for Hackivism, E is for Espionage and W is for War.

E for Espionage in this video means, you guessed it, China and their persistent effort to steal secrets from American corporations via cyberhacking. This is Cyber Awareness Month and our biggest threat in cyberspace is the People’s Republic of China. Read Unrestricted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America by Chinese Colonels Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui for more information.

By the way, I wouldn’t recommend Clarke go all out and adopt this C.H.E.W. acronym for himself. “Richard Clarke: The C*H*E*W Man” just doesn’t have a ring to it. People would think he belongs on the Food Channel.
